U-Help funds come from contributions made by Spokane utility customers. All of the donations are used to help persons in need within the City of Spokane.

Services: This program assists low income families with final notices of their City of Spokane utility bill (water and trash services). SNAP offices also assist households that have services from other water districts.

Requirements: Households income must be below federal poverty guidelines. Households may be assisted only once in a 12-month period.

Application procedure: Clients must call the city to confirm the minimum required to keep service on; then call the Northeast SNAP office to make an appointment at 487-1114.
