Requirments: Anyone in Spokane County who is does not have a telephone, is in crisis or transition and low-income will qualify. Community Voice Mail is meant to be a primary source of phone service, not voice message for people who already have a phone. A few exceptions apply. For example, if you are seeking employment and do not have a reliable number to give to employers. Or, if you are fleeing domestic violence and need a safe, confidential number, you can still get a voice mail number to use.
Application Procedure:
Visit one of the provider agencies http://list.cvm.org/mapping/Spokane.html listed on this site and find out how to schedule an appointment to sign up.
You will be given a voice mail number where you can receive messages from employers, medical service providers, social workers, family and friends.
You can check your messages at any touch-tone phone, including pay phones.
You choose who you want to give your number to.
