Project Share is a local fuel fund that is supported by donations from utilities and their customers. It was established to provide emergency energy assistance to those who are not eligible for energy assistance or for those who have exhausted all other available energy assistance sources.

Assistance may be provided once every other heating season (October 1st to September 30th) to a household when funding is available.

Households receiving rent subsidizes or whose heat costs are included in their rent do not qualify for this program.

Payment is limited to the minimum to address an emergency for gas or electric, 100 gallons of oil or propane, one ton of pellets or one cord of wood, not to exceed $300 for any assistance.
