Here are the eligibility requirements to participate in SNAP's Conservation Education Program.

•    There are no income requirements to participate
•    All residents of Spokane County are welcome to host or attend all classes and workshops
•    Weatherization home assessments are conducted for participants of SNAP’s Weatherization Program
•    Weatherization clients must meet these income guidelines:

Total household income at or below 200% Federal poverty or 60% State median income, whichever is greater. Please reference Department of Commerce Income Guidelines

Qualified households may receive conservation and/or home repair supplies. Depending on availability, supplies may include:

• a reusable shopping bag
• compact fluorescent light bulbs
• shrink-to-fit window plastic
• rope caulk
• water-saving aerator and showerhead
• outlet gaskets
• door sweeps
• refrigerator coil brush
• Or a toolkit for Do it Yourself Weatherization participants.
