Here are the eligibility requirements to participate in SNAP's Conservation Education Program.
• There are no income requirements to participate
• All residents of Spokane County are welcome to host or attend all classes and workshops
• Weatherization home assessments are conducted for participants of SNAP’s Weatherization Program
• Weatherization clients must meet these income guidelines:
At or below 50% of Spokane County median income (please see http://www.huduser.org/datasets/il.html)
or at or below 125% of the federal poverty level will receive conservation and/or home repair supplies.
Depending on availability, supplies may include: a reusable shopping bag, compact fluorescent light bulbs, shrink-to-fit window plastic, rope caulk, water-saving aerator and showerhead, outlet gaskets, door sweeps, refrigerator coil brush and a toolkit for Do it Yourself Weatherization participants.
