REQUIREMENTS/ELIGIBILITY: Total household income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines, or 60% of the state median income, whichever is greater. Those household at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines are our priority. Clients may be renters or homeowners. Apartment buildings (3 or more units) are also eligible if the landlord contributes to the cost of labor and materials.

6 person household - $5,127 monthly - $61,519 annual
7 person household - $5,243 monthly - $62,918 annual
8 person household - $5,360 monthly - $64,316 annual

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Backlog comes mainly from Energy Assistance applications that are taken at the neighborhood offices. Files are certified and entered into CAPSYS database. Those clients marking yes to the question “Do you want weatherization?” are transferred into the Weatherization backlog. Clients are kept on the list in the order they first applied. Clients may apply online or call 744-3370 ext. 350 to apply.
TIME FRAME: Waiting time is currently estimated at 6 months to one year for all heat types. Priority is determined by date of application, household income, and other factors such as ages of household members, disabilities, utility company, and energy burden.
