SNAP offers several programs that help low-income households with expenses by paying a portion of their heating costs.
The bulk of funding
for the Energy Assistance program is available during the winter months. However,
we may be able to help at other times of the year, if funding is present. It
is important to note that energy assistance dollars are limited and we can help
only when funding is available.
The 2007-2008
Energy Season lines are now closed. The 2008-2009 Energy Assistance
Program will begin making appointments in the fall of 2008. To receive
an energy appointment, call 242-2376 on:
Tuesdays 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
Thursdays 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
